Job Description:

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the operation of our managed facilities.

The Facilities Supervisor will be responsible for managing a portfolio of buildings, ensuring preventative maintenance is performed, responding to client requests, and identifying and pursuing opportunities for facility improvements and additional service offerings.


The Role

* Oversee and manage all aspects of facility operations, including but not limited to: Electrical, plumbing, fire safety, security systems, and building automation systems.
* Ensure site technical services are delivered in compliance with legislative, client and CBRE health, safety and environmental programmes
* Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules and ensure adherence to these schedules.
* Respond to and resolve client requests and maintenance issues promptly and efficiently.
* Act as the Technical Services point of contact for all in / out of scope technical activities and provide technical support across a wide spectrum of industrial technical services, to the CBRE team and client.
* Manage a team of technicians to deliver technical services utilising CBRE employed resource (self-perform). Be the driver in maximising the volume of work that is self-performed.
* Manage and oversee vendor relationships, including negotiating contracts, managing performance, and ensuring quality of service.
* Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with building systems.
* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned facilities and the surrounding area.
* Assist with the development of proposals and bids for new business.
* Opportunity to grow, supervisor and mentor a team of maintenance technicians and other facility staff.
* Prepare and submit regular reports on facility performance, maintenance activities, and financial metrics.



Hours

* Monday – Friday
* 7am - 4pm / 8am - 5pm / 9am - 6pm
* Overtime available


Experience & Qualifications

* FM knowledge required
* Technical knowledge advantageous
* Strong leadership skills
