GoldenSource Engineer vacancy for our Basel based client in the Banking sector.
Your tasks:
- Lead operational support to ensure business-critical Static and Reference Data applications exceed service expectations
- Analyse and design business processes around GoldenSource reference and market data products, translating business needs into technical specifications
- Drive enhancement and maintenance of business applications and infrastructure, supporting regular upgrades
- Contribute to key projects, ensuring delivery on milestones, deliverables, and budgets
- Manage changes to applications, mitigate risks, and communicate with key stakeholders
- Develop and support test plans, including user acceptance testing for Reference and Market Data projects
Your experience/knowledge:
- 5+ years' experience supporting business applications in a banking environment
- At least 2 years' experience customising GoldenSource applications or similar static/reference data management solutions (Java, SQL, Powershell, Python)
- Strong technical knowledge of Linux and Oracle environments
- Track record of contributing to large, business-critical projects
- Hands-on experience with source control management, automated testing, and deployment processes
- Language skills: English
