HGV Mechanic

HGV Mechanic – 1+ Year Experience Required – Stoke-on-Trent - Permanent Role.

£20.00 per hour / £46,800 per annum.

Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:30pm (30 min break deducted)



Silver Arrow require an experienced HGV Mechanic to work for an independent used vehicle specialist company based in the Stoke-on-Trent area.

Your Role:

* Diagnosing faults and carrying out detailed analysis
* Preventative and routine maintenance
* Servicing vehicles
* General repairs and resolving minor issues
* MOT preparation and presentation

* You will be working on a wide range of commercial vehicles, predominantly 18 tonnes and above, using modern diagnostic tools in a state of the-art, insulated workshop with an ATF-standard lane



What we need from you:

* Proven experience (1+ years) as a HGV Mechanic / Commercial Vehicle Technician
* Strong knowledge of engines, clutches, gearboxes, and braking systems
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* A proactive, can-do attitude
* Class 1 (C+E) licence – essential
