Key Responsibilities:
In this PCB Assembly Operative role, you’ll be involved in a range of practical and technical tasks:

* Carry out hand assembly and soldering of PCBs
* Complete through hole and surface mount placement by hand
* Clean and prepare PCBs to a high standard
* Perform visual inspection of solder joints
* Undertake PCB rework and modification
* Build prototypes and support the design team

What we’re looking for:
To succeed as a PCB Assembly Operative, you’ll need:

* At least 2 years’ experience in an electronics production environment
* Strong soldering skills with both leaded and lead-free materials
* Experience as a Production Operative within electronics manufacturing
* Experience preparing and assembling through hole components
* Experience as a Soldering Operative working with surface mount components (down to 0402)
* Confidence using basic hand tools such as pliers and screwdrivers

It would also be beneficial if you have:

* Experience using hot air and rework techniques
* IPC certification (current or previous)
