Strategic Security Architect

Strategic Security Architect | Long-term project | Banking



We are looking for…

A senior Strategic Security Architect who can assess the impact of strategic initiatives on the bank’s security posture while guiding teams toward secure, scalable solutions. You act as a bridge between business and IT, aligning stakeholders and ensuring that security principles are embedded in both architecture and delivery. You act as a sparring partner to architects, Product Owners, and Grid Owners, while also supporting agile teams in translating architectural direction into practical implementation.





Responsibilities

- Define and review solution architectures and solution intents

- Guide DevOps teams during design and implementation phases

- Ensure adherence to security standards and best practices

- Collaborate across multiple departments and technologies

- Drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups

- Promote continuous improvement and learning within teams





Experience & Education

- Minimum 5+ years in IT Architecture roles

- Strong background in Information Security

- Proven experience in solution architecture and design



- University or BSc degree

- Strong knowledge of:

* Digital Identity (RBAC/ABAC)

* Authentication protocols

* Electronic signing

- Excellent analytical and communication skills

- Ability to drive solutions and influence stakeholders

- Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments



Nice to have

- Experience with Microsoft Azure services

- Background in software engineering

- TOGAF / Archimate certification

- Security certifications (e.g. CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CEH)
