Software Test Engineer - Core Banking (Temenos T24) vacancy for our Luxembourg based client in the Banking sector.
Your tasks:
- Design, analyse, and document high-quality detailed test cases (X-ray format) to ensure comprehensive coverage for manual and automated testing in complex banking project environments
- Collaborate with requirements engineers and business stakeholders to capture end-to-end product life cycles, translating them into structured, automatable test scenarios
- Review existing test cases, identify gaps or outdated scenarios, and update the portfolio accordingly
- Execute tests in alignment with specified test cases, document results, and provide test reports and evidence to stakeholders
- Coordinate with test automation engineers to ensure documented test cases are directly usable for automation without rework
Your experience/knowledge:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or at least 6 years of experience as a manual test engineer in IT & finance
- Strong experience with core banking platforms such as Temenos T24/Transact, including system navigation, workflows, and technical understanding (R22 or later preferred)
- ISTQB Foundation certification and expertise with test management tools like JIRA and Xray
- Expertise in SIT, UAT, and regression testing within Agile or hybrid banking projects
- Language skills: English
