HGV Technician– 2+ Years Experience Required – Marchington – Permanent Role.

£19.29 per hour, plus enhancement payment of up to £300 per month based upon your qualification level

Monday – Friday

Rotating weekly shift pattern of 06:00 - 14:30 / 09:30 - 18:00 (40 hours per week)



Silver Arrow require an experienced HGV Technician to work for a prestigious main dealership based in the Marchington area.

Your Role:

* Carrying out servicing, inspections and maintenance to manufacturer standards
* Completing visual checks, adjustments, fluid replacements and replacing worn components
* Identifying defects and additional work required
* Performing repair work including component replacements and assembly tasks
* Supporting Systems Technicians with more complex repairs
* Retrofitting accessories and conducting start-up checks
* Resetting service indicators and ensuring accurate documentation
* Cleaning and caring for customer vehicles



What we need from you:

* Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in HGV Maintenance & Repair (essential)
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar HGV or dealership workshop role
* Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
* HGV Licence (desired)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Customer-focused approach
* Structured, disciplined work style
* Ability to adapt to changing workloads
* Positive team mindset
