A leading cultural institution is seeking to appoint Temporary Gallery Assistants to support a major upcoming exhibition. This is an exciting opportunity for customer-focused individuals with a passion for the arts to contribute to a high-profile visitor experience.

Working as part of a dynamic Commercial Team and reporting to the Gallery Assistant Team Leader, successful candidates will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the exhibition and delivering an exceptional standard of service.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage the Exhibition Desk, including in-house ticketing and online booking systems
* Provide outstanding customer service via phone, email, and in person
* Deliver a welcoming and engaging front-of-house experience for all visitors
* Maintain public areas to a high standard at all times
* Support general administrative functions within the Commercial Department
* Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures
* Assist across wider commercial operations (e.g. retail/shop) as required

Candidate Profile

* Previous experience in a customer-facing or front-of-house role
* Familiarity with box office and EPOS systems
* Experience with Ticketsolve (desirable but not essential)
* Strong interest in arts, culture, or heritage environments
* Professional, approachable, and courteous manner
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision
* Strong organisational and numerical skills with the ability to prioritise under pressure
* Flexible, proactive, and team-oriented approach
* Willingness to stay informed about exhibition programmes and events

* This is a temporary role supporting a major exhibition programme
* Applicants must be fluent in English and eligible to work in Ireland
