Job Description:

An exciting opportunity to join our client's team at a French independent construction company founded in 1861, specializing in public and private projects including infrastructure, industrial facilities, public equipment, and housing. We are looking for a Planning Engineer to join this organization.





Responsibilities

* Participate in the development of detailed work planning, studies, and site preparation
* Collect, process, and synthesize information to establish the site schedule
* Analyze the planning impact of the proposed technical solutions and adjust accordingly
* Implement tools for periodic monitoring of deadlines and milestones
* Control compliance with the planning by internal and external stakeholders
* Analyze deviations and assess the level of criticality
* Implement corrective actions and identify improvements



Requirements

* Graduated from a higher education program BAC+5 in engineering school in building/GC
* Minimum of 4 years of experience as an OPC on Civil Engineering projects or as a planner in a general contracting company
* Mastery of construction processes and techniques
* Proficiency in Primavera PG/MS Project software
* Ability to have a global vision of the project and to understand business issues
* Coordination and management
* Rigor and pragmatism
* Customer service orientation
* Enjoyment of human contacts
* Motivation to take on challenges
* The position is a Project-Based Permanent Contract (CDI-C) for a minimum of 5 years, based at the Penly nuclear power plant site
* An initial period of 8 to 12 months in Paris will be required at the start
